Ship’s Quarters

Shiver Me Timbers, Captain…..am I on a ship or in a cabin? It’s time to set sail for your next Ocean Adventure! This beautiful gem of a log cabin was completed in 2009 with great care. Lovingly dubbed “Ship’s Quarters at Moss Landing,” it offers a unique, romantic, restful get away. Captain Jack Sparrow never had it so good!  From stem to stern, this rustic but elegant log cabin is reminiscent of being inside a great old wooden ship of yore. Step inside and you’ll think you’ve embarked on an ocean voyage as you settle into quarters fit for the Captain and his lady.

Ship's Quarters at Moss Landing

TNT_0356Warm, golden walls reflect the flames from the fireplace. Elegant nautical artwork enchants you from the moment you walk in. Sink into the leather sofa with a glass of your favorite beverage, pop a CD into the stereo, put your feet up, and breathe a sigh of relaxation as your adventure begins. The downstairs television is complete with cable and  DVD player. Ship’s Quarters has an easy-to-navigate handicap ramp for those who need a little help getting “aboard ship,” and there are grab bars in the bathroom. Although you can’t actually get a wheelchair into the bathroom, all of the doors are wide enough to accommodate a walker. The nautical decor and the solid log walls of the Moss Landing Cabins could make you believe you really ARE on a 19th century wooden ship.  One thing those old ships didn’t have, though, was your very own personal hot tub out on the deck!

TNT_0312The master bedroom really does have that “wooden ship” feel with the heavy wood beams in the ceiling and the nautical pictures.  Our master bedroom features a queen-size sleep numbers bed so you can each have the “perfect” night’s sleep!

2nd bedroom has full bed.

TNT_0353When it’s time to dine, you have a complete Galley at your disposal. Everything you need to cook your favorite seafaring food is right here, from baking sheets to serving dishes to wine glasses. Our Galley is complete with a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, full propane range, and small refrigerator.

TNT_0341For those of you who like a little entertainment while displaying your culinary talents, the TV is visible from the galley, the dining area, and the living room.  We’ve also left you some CDs to listen to, just in case you forgot to bring your own favorites along.  We also have WiFi.

moss_landing_hottub - CopyAfter dinner, cozy up to the fire with a little romantic music or relax in the hot tub after your “little crew members” have hit the sack.  You can hear the surf from the hot tub on the deck, so you might want to move your private party outside.  There’s nothing as beautiful as the sky in Ocean Shores on a clear night.  It feels like you could just reach up and touch the stars.

LGBT friendly.

100_4677Sometimes, every member of the family needs a good run on the beach!  Ship’s Quarters does accept up to 2 adult dogs with a $50 pet deposit.  Please let me know when you make your reservation arrangements.
